Program Description

Specific Event Details

Our guest will be Ed Henkler, Founder of The Blind Guide (theblindguide.com).  Ed will speak about our allies on the vision loss journey, including family, friends & carers.  He will address:
  • the caregiver is also on a journey
  • "caregiver" vs "caretaker"
  • how to help others understand your vision loss
  • adapting to vision loss
  • resources he has found especially helpful
This monthly info & social session is open to anyone for whom glasses are no longer sufficient.  Companions are welcome.  Tokens for Plymouth Senior Transportation will be provided upon request.  Registration is invited but not required.
