Program Description

Specific Event Details

This month, Diane Sanders will present about the Detroit Radio Information Service (DRIS), a program run by WDET 101.9 FM, Detroit's NPR station, that provides live and pre-recorded readings of daily and weekly print publications to the visually impaired and print-disabled community. It's a free service, accessible via a special radio receiver or streaming.

This monthly info session is open to anyone for whom glasses are no longer sufficient.  Sessions are both social and informative and often feature a guest speaker.  Companions are welcome.  Tokens for Plymouth Senior Transportation will be provided upon request.  Registration is invited but not required.
