Specific Event Details

Presented by Barry Levine. The 1945 sinking of the USS Indianapolis was the worst at-sea loss in U.S. Naval history. Miraculously, 316 survived a harrowing ordeal in the Pacific Ocean and many challenges after their rescue. This presentation will share this story, including what happened to some of the Michigan survivors. Sponsored by Friends of PDL.
