Specific Event Details

Discover the resilience of the Indigenous children who were stripped of their culture and heritage at Holy Childhood boarding school in Harbor Springs, until it was closed in 1983. The Emmy-award winning documentary “Secrets of Holy Childhood” will be shown, followed by a panel discussion featuring Tribal Elders who were featured in the film. The rich heritage and traditions of the Odawa Tribe, and their continued healing from this intergenerational trauma, will be explored.
