Northville District Library presents: Home for the Holidays with Harpist Chanah Ambuter

Accomplished harpist, Chanah Ambuter, presents a blend of nostalgic, classic and rare pieces inspired to bring joy and relaxation to the winter season.

Chanah Ambuter first began harp studies at the age of 11. Since then, she has continued to pursue the harp with instruction at The Juilliard School: Precollege Division, The University of Michigan, and the University of Illinois, culminating with her Master of Music in Harp Performance and Literature degree. She performs frequently in the greater Metro-Detroit area, and past clients have included the DIA, the Metro-Detroit Chorale, the University of Michigan, and more! Her harp was made by the prestigious Italian manufacturer "Salvi," whose luxurious, luminous sound and masterful craftmanship led to a custom commission from the Royal British Family to make the official harp for The Prince of Wales and was played at the royal wedding! Chanah has cultivated a diverse and flamboyant repertoire of music, and she loves to explore the musical possibilities they present!
