My College Planning Team Webinar: Big Changes Coming to the FAFSA, Are You Ready?

Big changes are coming to the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)! Now, more than ever, families need to understand how their personal and financial situation will impact eligibility as they prepare to send their children off to college next fall. Key changes include the direct data exchange, that requires tax filers to import their tax information from the IRS, a change in the definition of who is required to share information on the FAFSA, the elimination of the former Expected Family Contribution (EFC) and the transition to the Student Aid Index (SAI), and the elimination of children in college from the calculation of eligibility.
