Come enjoy a family-friendly event! Learn about Islam and muslim history and cultural information such as what is a hijab. There will be hands-on activities for kids such as calligraphy, Islamic Arts and coloring, an opportunity to try on a hijab or hinna on your hands. Snacks will also be provided including coffee, cookies, samosa, and international delicacies. We hope you will come to learn about your Muslim neighbors and build a bridge in our community.
We are pleased to present this event in conjunction with the Detroit chapter of the Muslim American Society.
