Have you reached a “stuck spot” in exploring your family lineage? Members of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will be available to try to help you make progress. Workshop participation is by appointment, but walk-ins will be welcomed as availability allows. Each person will be allotted about a half an hour to discuss their particular family research. To be prepared for this appointment, please organize as much information as possible.
Specifically:
- Parents (and their siblings) and date of birth, and where they were born. Maiden names for your female ancestors, if possible.
- Grandparents (and siblings).
- Great Grandparents, if known.
It is okay if you don't have all the facts. Please organize as much information as you know.
As we get closer to the date, we will be contacting you to specify a time.
The DAR website has many resources for beginners, please consider these resources in advance of your appointment.

You are also welcome to download the family group sheet and the ancestor chart to help you. These forms are located at right, under Attachments.
