Specific Event Details

Join us for a storytime designed especially for families with special needs! With help and motivation from the Allen Early Learning Academy, This program will include a story utilizing a core language board, songs, and rhymes with different sensory needs in mind. The 15-minute storytime will be followed by a period of open play with toys provided by the library. Registration is required to keep the group to size that won’t be overwhelming for any participants. Please register only the child; family attending with them is assumed.

Storytime for Families with Special Needs is for children with all types of developmental disabilities who are at the preschool level of development, regardless of their chronological age.
