Specific Event Details

Do you know the Anishinabek story of how Turtle Island, North America, came to be? Join us for a very special storytime with Meredith Kennedy-Fisher, proud Waganakising Odawak and Executive Director of Miigwech Inc, while she shares the story of Turtle Island followed by a craft. Children will create their very own turtle shaped shaker. After this activity your little ones can express gratitude to all the creatures that help shape Turtle Island today.
