Program Description

Specific Event Details

Join us for this workshop with fashion expert Juliette Gustavsson where kids will explore sewing and design while creating their very own softie! Designed specifically for children aged 6 to 12 who are new to the world of sewing, this program offers a hands-on experience that introduces them to the fundamentals of sewing.

Under Juliette's guidance, kids will explore introductory sewing skills and stitching techniques, creating unique hand-stitched softies using the sewing resources available in the Lab.

Juliette Gustavsson is the Founder of Mrs. Jet-Set Tours which provides one-of-a-kind tours and lectures for premier global fashion events. As a fashion historian, Juliette has contributed historical backgrounds for hundreds of fashion items showcased in events like the Audrey Hepburn “Always And Forever” Tour, the Harper’s Bazaar 150th Anniversary Tour, and Hermès “Wanderland” and “Harnessing the Roots” tours. With over 15 years of experience in corporate marketing and a background as a fashion editor, Juliette brings a wealth of expertise to this sewing program.
