Specific Event Details
Presented by Don Batkins. This talk starts with a short overview of photography and gives examples of photos produced by cameras of the time that might be in your ancestor’s’ closet. We will then examine equipment and methods available to create copies of your ancestor’s photos to share with your family. The talk includes examples and descriptions of how the author created copies of his relatives’ photographs for his younger siblings and their children. It concludes with examples of two family history photo albums he built using both old and new photographs. The talk is illustrated using examples of his work coupled with ideas on how one could do the same for your ancestors. Please RSVP for this ONLINE ONLY program to receive the Zoom login details by email.
