Come learn about how your dietary choices can either enhance your physical performance or hold you back from being a better athlete! Registered Dietitian Elyse Huskey will review the importance of proper fueling and the risks of underfueling, specific nutrient goals for an athlete, the content and timing of pre-, during and post-exercise meals, and more. This talk is for any teen or young adult who is physically active, including those involved in sports, those training for an event, or those who simply live active lifestyles.
