Specific Event Details

This event is being presented hybrid - both in-person and virtually on Zoom.  This is the in-person registration.

The Friends of the Plymouth District Library are pleased to welcome Kelli Dobner, Chief Advancement Officer of Samaritas, speaking on "New American Refugee Services."

Samaritas is one of the country's largest providers of refugee services, resettling families from all over the world. This organization has committed to resettle 500 Afghans - families like yours - living in Michigan.  The organization is also playing a vital role in supporting unaccompanied refugee minors and refugee foster youth.

Ms. Dobner will present about the role that Samaritas plays in helping these new American refugees connect with the families and communities that will empower them to live their fullest life possible.
