Join us in creating unique art pieces using our craft scrap supplies! Visit our Reader's Advisory desk between Monday, April 21st through Sunday, April 27th to pick up your Scrap Art with The Lab scrap kit. Over the next two weeks, take your kit home to craft your own masterpiece inspired by the materials provided, or visit The Lab during open hours to utilize our equipment, including sewing machines, an embroidery machine, a Glowforge laser engraver, and more!
Submit your designs at our Reader's Advisory desk or in the Lab between Sunday, May 11th through Sunday, May 18th. Five winners will be chosen to have their art displayed in our library and win some crafty prizes!
Please note that some small pieces of scrap used in this activity may pose a choking hazard. Therefore, this activity is not recommended for young children who are at risk of choking.
