Books & Bites Teen Book Club
Now meeting monthly, join us to discuss a great YA read! The first five registrants get a free-to-keep copy of the book, and if that isn’t enticing enough, there will be snacks!
Specific Event Details
This month we will be reading the wonderful and diverse fantasy(ish) graphic novel Snapdragon by Kat Leyh!
Snap’s town has a witch.
At least, that’s how the rumor goes. But in reality, Jacks is just a Crocs-wearing, internet-savvy old lady who sells roadkill skeletons online. It’s creepy, sure, but fellow small-town-outsider Snap thinks it's kind of cool, too.
When Snap needs a favor from the reclusive roadkill collector, she begins helping Jacks with her strange work. The unlikely pair begin to bond but Snap starts to suspect Jacks may have real magic after all...and a secret connection to Snap's family.
